What we do

Bike graphics are small, curved and looked at closely. A decal that would pass on a van side shows every flaw on a tank, so artwork has to be clean and the cut has to be exact.

We make one-offs and short runs: reproduction decals for a restoration where the originals are long gone, race numbers and sponsor logos for track bikes, and custom designs for riders who want something nobody else has.

How it is made

Printed and cut in our own workshop

Bike and helmet graphics are printed and cut on our Roland TrueVIS VG3-640 and VG3-540. For helmets and other hard, curved surfaces our UV DTF printer makes transfers that go on with no clear border.

Designing the artwork on screen

Made for curves

We choose vinyl that conforms to a tank or fairing without lifting at the edges.

Reproduced from remains

A photo of an old decal, even a damaged one, is enough to redraw from.

Fitting the finished job

One-offs welcome

There is no need to order a batch to get a single set made.

Helmets, step by step

How a helmet is made

From a sketch to a finished lid in three stages, all done in our Helmsley workshop.

1

Designed on screen

The artwork is drawn to the shape of your helmet, with every piece planned around vents, visor and seams.

2

Printed and cut

It is printed in full colour and contour-cut on our Roland TrueVIS VG3-640, so each shape lifts off ready to apply.

Applied by hand

Each piece is laid onto the shell, squeegeed down and the carrier film peeled away, leaving only the design.

Good questions

Motorbike decals: what people ask

Can you reproduce decals for an old bike?

Yes. Send photos of the originals, or of another bike of the same model, with measurements. We redraw the artwork and match the colours.

Will tank decals stand up to fuel?

Tell us it is for a tank when you order, because it affects the material and finish we use. If your painter is lacquering over the decals, say so and we will supply them to suit.

Can you put a design on my helmet?

Yes. UV DTF transfers bond to hard, curved surfaces and have no background film, so only the design shows.

Ready when you are

Send a photo and a rough idea. We will come back with a price and a mock-up.
